We’ve scooped product of the year with super-premium brand Mövenpick at the Chef’s Choice Awards.
The awards event took place on 27th February 2018 at the Haymarket Hotel in London
As well as winning the ice cream category, our Mövenpick Cinnamon Ice Cream also received the most marks from the expert judging panel across all 75 finalists.
Judges described it as “perfectly balanced”, providing “great taste, innovation and texture”.
We also received a Highly Rated award for Mövenpick Strawberry Ice Cream.
The judging panel comprised a selection of chefs, journalists and food technologists, as well as culinary research and development managers.
The Chefs’ Choice Awards, now in its second year, was created by William Reed to showcase the best suppliers, manufacturers and wholesalers in food service, it spans 27 categories.
Event Director Sonia Young says “These awards will allow businesses in the food service supply chain to compete head-to-head in core product categories and secure a competitive advantage via independent assessment of eating quality, value and taste. The also highlight great development work that’s delivering to thousands of customers in pubs and bars, restaurants, hotels, cafes and other hospitality outlets”.
